Carpet Replacement
Carpet Replacement
Has anyone had to have the carpeting replaced? My 03 is starting to look quite worn and I'd like to give her a little refresh, but I'm not sure where to start looking.
I think that you might be SOL for this. I tried finding a place that sold a replacement carpet, or an upgraded carpet for my 05, and ended up giving up because I couldn't find a place. I emailed anyone that made carpets, even offering to send them my OEM one for free (Which isn't in bad shape, I'm just ****) and never received any responses.
A simple google search will lead you to probably 95% of the places I found, and I would recommend doing the same thing as I did, type up a standard email (Make is sound nice, don't sound like a retard (No insinuations there)) and start emailing all of them. Seriously, I used to work in the aftermarket industry, and retarded emails were deleted on the spot almost 100% of the time.
Your inquiry's might be that straw needed to break the camels back of getting a company to make an OEM carpet replacement for the Evo's. I am thinking if reasonably priced, they would profit easily from is as the OEM stuff sucks, and I can garantee about 95% of the 03-05 carpets out there in everyone's rides is about due for a replacement. There is no better way to get that like new feeling in a car by replacing the entire carpet set (Carpet and mats etc..)
Try it, I never got anywhere, you never know, you just might.

I've looked before, like last spring around SoCal and came up with nothing short of complete custom jobs that would run ridiculous prices. I guess if something doesn't come up by the time I get home I'll just have to get some carpeting custom cut and see what happens with that.
