VIII with a radiator leak, cracked coil

I have a small leak, and it seems to be coming from the coils. I'd like to go replace the radiator, and of course the dealer wants like $1k for it. I was looking on ebay and there seems to be lots of radiators for the VIII there for a decent price. Can I go this route or should I be looking elsewhere?

It really depends what you are looking to spend. If I were in need to replace my radiator I would definitely get the full size CBRD unit. Its about half the cost of an OEM unit yet has more benefits and is guaranteed to perform.

Try and buy a used stock one from the classifieds on this forum.

I got mine for $90 bucks shipped and it works like a charm.

If you need anything let us know!

There are some inexpensive radiators out there, if you want something pretty awesome let us know we dont just make one solution, we have 7-8 different evo radiators alone!

most evo owners are good to go with a STOCK radiator

cheers

Pull it out and try to find the leak and jb weld it. If you would prefer a new radiator I would highly recommend the cbrd. I got the thinner one and works great with no radiator fan driving around in Texas with 100+ degree summers. Temp gauge never hits half way. Plus it looks reeeaall good.

+1. I could've spent $500+ on a nicer one, but I'm on a budget, so Mishimoto was my choice. If you can find a used oem one in good condition, then go for it. At the time mine started leaking, I couldn't find one.
