End The Season For My AngryEvo8
All things good must come to a end! To put things simply this year has been a blast!! My Evo has been through many different phases but this one has been by far the best to my liking so far
. Feels great on the street and sick at the track! Mod list includes:
I mostly daily drive the car and rip it down the 1320
So this setup seems perfect for me for now..Best pass the car has seen this year was a 11.1@ only 119 with a 1.59 60'. I Had to let out of it towards the end of the track due to some minor knock, that's why the trap seems low. Car also retians full weight besides front crash beam and the obvious spare tire.
This pass was done on e-70 at around 405hp Car was retuned later in the season when e-85 was available and picked up about 35hp.

I know that the car has more in it but wasent able to make a pass better then that this year. Traction problems and limited track days helped with that
I was also able to take the car out to Ohio for the the 18th annual Buschur shootout
With my stock appearing setup I decided it would be perfect to compete in the stock appearing class!
Upon race day I managed to pilot the car into third place and it was down to me Awd Dyno & Street his Evo. Both awd & street this evo lined up next, Street this evo took the win. Which put me next to race his sick evo. Knowing I had came that far was a huge accomplishment in itself and I dident mind to loose to him or awd, cuz they are both really nice guys with sick cars!
Lined up...decent launch missed second
It was over from there lol
Here is a video I put together which has footage from the beginning of the year, Buschur shootout etc.:
http://www.vimeo.com/14559665 Its not the best quality vids recorded by girlfrind
Anyways, I had a awesome time at the open house and at the track. I highly recommended anyone that has not gone to go!!
The car is now undergoing some cosmetic changes and will be coming out next year looking good and running even stronger!
Here is a little preview:
Before:

Evo Makeover

And here is the new color...Oem EB (Inspired by Stms Ricer!!)

RS inspired door handles and a Carbon roof too
I Dont have any finished photos of the car because its not done yet.
After the car is done its being put away in storage until next spring. Midwest winters are rough and rather not ruin my new beauty lol.
There are many different things that I would like to get for the car but I have to be realistic
Hopefully next year the car come out with a Fp Black, Quartermaster Clutch, Custom stock frame header as well as some other goodies. I am still going to be pushing my stock block for the time being and also running e-85
Thanks goes out to every shop that has made awesome parts that performed flawlessly on my car. As well as Strictly Modified for working on the car & letting me use their drag radials numerous times!! Devin Tuned for doing what he does best! Also all my friends that have helped me out
Cant wait for what is in store for next year! -Jason
