Keep in the back of your mind that parts are gonna break/go bad regardless of its condition so always try to be proactive about maintenance.

I've owned a 06 STi and now a 95 JDM STi RA ver 2. To be honest, I was on the same boat when I sold my 06 STi back in the day. I wanted an evo due to its ease of modding.... but at the end, I just couldn't get rid of that subaru "feel."

It's that subaru rumble and the "feel" that I can't really describe that gets me to drive my STi, especially my JDM. Maybe I'll own an evo as my 2nd car down the road lol.
