Well at 224,700 Miles I rear ended someone!!

I rear ended someone, but luckily no one got hurt.

I was not speeding, just driving around 30MPH, crested a hill and bam. stoplight was red and two cars in front. Tried to go left to the open lane but couldn't react fast enough. While we were getting the accident report made, another car crested the hill and almost hit the police car.

I feel really bad as I think the Honda Civic the girl was driving is totaled. I hit the driver side rear with my passenger front.

I already called our bodyshop to look at it in the morning.

My car still ran, but after I shut it off the oil cooler started leaking.

This just sucks!! I love driving my Evo! My wife called me and asked how much damage to the car, she knows I love it more than her,

I will add much needed pictures to the thread tomorrow.

One of my friends said at least I get the front end painted now after all of the miles.

Glad you/everyone else is ok...

I hope the car isn't totaled, would be such a shame for it to go out that way.

That sucks, but look at the bright side: No one got hurt! I do know how frustrating it can be as I scraped my front bumper on a curb the other day and it took me a few days to calm down. Hopefully you have a good body shop. I really hope I can get that kind of mileage out of mine!

The bodyshop guy already knew about the 4th. So he will try and get it done.

Who needs headlights, or a right corner for that matter.

At least MY LICP was still intact.

To everyone else, thank you. I am very grateful no one was hurt. My biggest fear is if a child was in the car in front. Thank goodness there were no children.

its been said numerous times already, but ill say it again; at least no one was hurt. sounds like a true bad timing accident. at least you werent speeding or driving wreckless.

i know it still sucks to have the car down and in need of repairs, never a good feeling. But after all those miles, I am sure she will be back up and running soon. health is something that cant be replaced. best of luck getting her up and running
