Mine had the similiar issue. It turned out to be the Cam sensor so I replaced it. Read my thread...... hopefully it helps

Im in the same boat no boost leaks or anything. Cam positions sensor is an interesting idea i might have to try that if i can ever get some cash flowing again.

In Japan, it cost me roughly $60.00., so hopefully it should be an arm and a leg to buy in the states. if it is still causing a problem then I'd trying buying a new crank position sensor as well.

I read that adding some 2 or 3 degrees of timing in the idle area of map (basically where stock map is set at 5 degrees) would help.

It can give the idle "a little more torque" so much more stable/strong.

And yes: "Who was the tuner?"
