And buy a whole bunch of **** for your car while it is layed up where you can't work on it or drive it?
I have recently purchased:
1. Cusco twin plate carbon fiber clutch
2. SS clutch line
3. a set of 272 HKS cams (intake and exhaust)
4. Adjustable HKS cam gears
5. Fuel pressure regulator, with guage and adapter for fuel rail
6. Intake pipe (Buschur)
7. upper intercooler pipe (Buschur)
8. small battery kit (Buschur)
And going on the car payed for by insurance company will be red tail lights to replace the stock Alteza style tails, and a Buschur Racing Front mount intercooler. I have also taken off and sold the stock huge CF wing and will be either leaving it wingless or putting a low mount wing on it.
I already have a full three inch Buschur Racing exhaust, an air filter, boost controler, and SAFCII and I will be getting a fuel pump and injectors in the near future as well to complete Buschur Racing stage 4.
Looking at the dyno sheets on Buschur Racing site, all this stuff put on the car will get me somewhere around 450 crank HP (about 380 at the wheels) and 412 lb/ft of torque at the crank (350 lb/ft at the wheels) on race gas.
On the street running pump gas I should have around 425HP at the crank (360 HP at the wheels) with 360 lb/ft torque at the crank shaft (305 lb/ft at the wheels).
Next comes upgraded turbo and intake manifold, and perhaps some head work
Keith
PS: Anyone have a ballpark figure for how far you can push the stock bottom end on the EVO's? With the future plans for upgraded turbo and intake manifold I may be pushing the limits....
