Hey guys... I just want to ask you guys something... I'm 17 and about to graduate from high school and my parents are considering buying me an EVO as an early graduation present 'cause apparently I'm a "good" kid lol... Anyways I just wanted to ask you guys that have your EVOS about an estimate on how much I'm gonna have to pay for insurance and the car payment... I'm 17 I've had my license for a year, know how to drive manual (my dad's stick 98 Ford Ranger lol), A student... um or 3.5 gpa don't know why though I get 4.5 on my report card gpa stupid high schools (people've told me that helps with young drivers and insurance) just so you know... I just want to know because I don't want my parents to buy the car if it's going to be really expensive... I mean don't get me wrong I love the car, but my dad also wants to buy a BMW 5 and he needs it for work and stuff so I really don't want to be a burden. Another thing I wanted to ask was whether you guys think this car is good for a person my age... I mean I've heard of all the clutch problems and stuff and if I get an EVO I dont wanna mess it up because Im not mature enough to handle it you know... I dont race or anything, Im not gonna race a 30,000 dollar sports car my parents bought me, but regardless I am gonna go a lil fast on the highway if no one's around and its safe and feel that turbo, ya kno what I mean? lol Thanks in advance for the advice guys, its really appreciated! Listen man. You are going to speed. Speed is very addictive. Trust me people will actually test you to punch it, you have to have plenty of will power. If this is you first car I suggest you get Wrx instead. If you get the Evo you have to be a responsible driver. Not like me trying to hit 140 when ever I can
