dont worry about the old douches who reign on everyones parade! as long as you didnt say you were on a crowded freeway doing 120+ cutting traffic, then you got my sympathy! i for one, LOVE canyon runs! and its the safest place to drive "spirited" next to a full on racetrack! as long as you go in the middle of the night when nobody else is driving on it! me and about 10-15 of my evo buddies go up to the canyons all the time! sometimes, bad things happen to good people who made a small miscalculation.... it happnes!

well, hope you get your can back to its former glory! good luck!

and kudos for being honest! cant tell you how many times ive read "i was doing the speed limit, and dont know what happened" ...lol, if that was the case, everyone else on the road would have crashed too !

Theres never a guarantee there wont be anybody else on the road. Things like this is why insurance is so expensive on these cars.

if they total it just buy it back and fix it up. no reason to let a perfectly good evo rot.

Damn! Glad your O.K.! Don't worry about what other people think, they were'nt there, and its all backseat noise!! If you can learn from a bad experience without the negativity its all good!!

Glad no one got hurt.

As for the car, most likely they will total it just like the did my car.
But just buy it back, the front bumper cover from mitsu is only $380 and comes pre painted ww anyway.

But if you still have a loan on the car they will probably keep it.

Good Luck.
