Cusco Rear trunk power brace vs GT spec trunk cage

Well doing some research it seems like the two best rear strut tower bars on the market are the Cusco rear trunk power brace, and the GT spec trunk cage.

Thoughts on which one works better? More function? Any other multiple connection point rear braces out there worth considering? thanks.

The Cusco piece just stiffens the very back of the trunk area, while the GTSpec cage ties-in and covers the entire trunk, much like the Works cage. If you're looking for a strut tower bar, the Cusco simply doesn't apply.

hmm interesting point. So your thoughts on quality of the works vs GT spec trunk cage?

I've had the GTSpec cage in my trunk for 4 years. Honestly, the only time I think about is when I notice the light stress fractures in its powdercoat. No complaints, really. If aesthetics are important, Works sells a similar cage that some may consider more attractive.

I have the WORKS trunk cage and it's pretty good. It holds grocery bags and items so it doesn't roll around in the trunk during hard turns and such.

The GTSpec one looks pretty decent, although I wish it had less allen bolts and joints. Makes it look like it would be less rigid.

Hey felix! our trunks look almost identical, I have the WORKS cage though... but I also have the trunk net
I think the works cage looks a little better, but it definately reduced my usable trunk space
