Is the sensor upgrade for the o2 sensor carb legal?

If it's shiny and before the cat then it's a no-no in Cali unless you can put a heat shield over it to hide it on the visual. Should still pass especially if you have the Tephra V7 mod with the emission fix.

 

If it is just a visual thing, they can blow it out their ***. lol

 

A word of advice, stay away from LancerShop. MAP has their o2 housing available with a black or very dark blue ceramic coating option that will get rid of the shinyness. As a matter of fact, there aren't too many things that you cant get from MAP at a lower price.
