Question Buschur Racing C.O.P question?

Hello,

I'm having a little issue with my BR C.O.P. and hope some BR C.O.P owner will be able to help

It was working fine for years until I had to put the car in storage for a whole year.

I came back and the car wouldn't start... I did the basic troubleshooting and found out I had no spark. Since I don't have the stock coil anymore I can't check if the C.O.P is faulty.

But I noticed there is a small LED on top of the CDI...
Is that LED suppose to light up when you turn the key on position ON?

Thank you for your help

Fuse has been checked and I even put a brand new one... still no light
I guess this is the reason why the car doesn't start.

The only time when it light up, is when I unplug and replug the harness back on the CDI.
But it only last 1 second.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Really?
LED stay ON just for couple minutes as soon you disconnect the CDI harness?
Otherwise I can't see how your CDI get his power without harness connected to it.
I'm gonna check ground, maybe it is stuffed.

Thanks.

Here some info that might help you troubleshooting your C.O.P CDI.

The LED will NOT stay ON when you turn the key switch to ON.
It will lit up for a sec and vanish.
When cranking your engine the LED will blink and only when the car is running, LED will stay ON.

Luckily I decided to redo spark test but this time with the proper tool and I actually saw electricity going through!
So my problem wasn't on the ignition side .

Thanks to MasterNater for the tips!

No problem, man. I'm glad I could help and good luck getting it running. Hopefully it will be something simple. It's always the little things that are the most aggravating.

So far I can't see or smell fuel in cylinder.
I have 40 PSI showing at my FPR

My 4 injectors might be stuck?
