No Start issue

No Start issue

my car wont turn over, i changed to clutch pressure switch and nothing.. i could hear the start like it wanted to turn but no.. changed the starter and still nothing. I put the key to the on position and i cant hear the fuel pump OEM alarm do you guys think that could be causing it?

HELPP ME!

Did you check all the connections to the battery?

press your horn. does it sound strong? if not then it is the battery. you could also try jump starting it.

check the basic first, battery, fuses, and connections like others said. Did you change anything before to make the car not started? Use a dvom, and check the voltage of the battey 12.6 or so and your good.

sounds like it could be an ignition switch to me. but who knows. trouble shooting always sucks. good luck buddy hope we help.

did you check the start solenoid? sometimes they get stuck or go bad. If you have a voltmeter check the leads to that, you should get 12 or so vdc and when you try to start it should drop voltage readings. if it stays the same then your solenoid is not engaging the start motor pinion to push out. I hope this helps.

the starter is fresh it feels like if you try to start the car without the clutch in, i have nothing as far as crank.

check the ignition switch like mentioned, mine was shooting sparks all over the place when i took the column cover off and watched it as i tried to crank.

so i had a chance to work on the car lastnight and i think its the ignition switch, jumped the start (power to signal) the car turned on no prob.. I took the key out and the car stayed on.

thoughts?
