Hello everyone on EvolutionM, this is my first post here. I just purchased a 2006 Evo IX MR and very impressed with it, but looking for some help with a few items.

I'm want to replace the leather 6-speed shift knob I have with the aluminium one, which I've saw on so many MRs in for sale adverts, but can't find it. I can find the 5-speed one (part #MZ525554EX), but not the 6-speed version for the MR. Does anyone know of a retailer that sells it?

Also, the Mitsubishi radio on my car seems to stick out and isn't flush with the dash, is this the radio surround frame at fault or do they all stick out like this? I really don't have a direct comparison to make, pictures on MR ads don't show this so well.

I also noticed two of my gauges near the ashtray don't work, the left volt & middle oil temperature meter, but the last one which I suspect is turbo boost, seems to bounce all over the place while driving. I need to get that looked into. Question, are these gauges (which I think are standard Mitsubishi) supposed to be lighted? At night I can't see them.
