Car is back in action!

So after going threw hell and back with my engine build over winter break. I finally got it running 100%, It now has 600 miles on the motor. Still breaking it in.

Break down of the problems i had.

- Cam Angle sensor
- Bad battery
- Fouled spark plugs
- Idle too rich

so after a month all of theses problems were fixed, and now the car is running great!

Shout out to TCompusa for his help in finding the problem

I was almost at the point just selling it bec i was so frusted with the car but glad i didnt. just thought i would share my experience in my first engine built

Congrats. When breaking in the motor, did you baby it a while or beat on it? I've heard both ways and am just wondering what you went with.

Congrats. I hope I can get mine up.

My motor has 15k miles on it originally, so does the car. However, the valves got bent when it jumped time. So now I am going to have to break it in again.

I have a 2005 Evo. I just want to drive. I want to get it to the mountains here in TN before the snow is completely gone. =(

they took out the spark plugs to do a compression test, and they saw the plugs covered in fuel. Replaced them started right up.

And before i gave to them i knew they were covered but still got spark so i didnt think that was the problem
