EVO IX vs 09 RA

Hey guys, for those that have driven both what were your impressions of them? I currently have an 09 RA and have had thoughts about the EVO IX. Just want to get more advice on if they are really that much different.
Some of the main reasons would be going back to a manual trans, more tq and hp. Just want to know if I would be better off just throwing in the X turbo swap and get used to the auto and manual mode.
Thanks

The IX feels nice and handles stickier than the RA. The appearance is a +10 too.

I came from a 350Z convertible. I guess I miss some the torque and the manual was fun for a daily driver. I don't dislike the RA, just thinking maybe I should have gotten the EVO. Maybe the X is what im looking for but to keep payments cheaper I was looking at the IX. Parts for the IX should be cheaper I would think as well.

evo 9 vs RA is hard to compare because they completly different cars. But if you want to get an evo with lower car payments i think the 9 is what you need.

Some argue the X is watered down evo, so I can only imagine the vast differences between a IX and your RA.

Even without ever driving a Ralliart, I would say the everyday creature comforts would be much better in your car to the Evo IX.

Trade it in for a X GSR or just do a X turbo setup swap. Just my 2-cents, but opinions will vary based on what section you post in

Thanks that all I am trying to do is get some educated opinions I worry about longevity of the transmission going the x turbo route. I suppose I could always reinstall everything and flash ECU if I need to.
I also looked at insurance costs on an EVO X at lunch. It would be 100 more every month! I didnt have time to check the price on the IX. I will check after work.

Looks like there would be a decrease of 24.00 every six months going to the EVO IX.
