looking for some guidance

my car is in need of some few things so im just going to take care of it and then some all at once since i dont have a ball and chain anymore . i'm in dire need of a new timing belt. i figured that if im going to change the timing belt i might as well go the extra mile and try to take care of a few other things. Heres what im looking to do.

-Maintenance kit
-272 cams
-valves
-springs and retainers
-head gasket
-studs
-valve seals
-CBRD tune
-new intercooler
-new radiator

Here is where i would like some help. When replacing the valves should i get new valve guides? Im definitely going to get new seals. Also what are the pros and cons of running an oversized valve? Does anything else special need to be done when running them?

Also what head gasket should i get? Im looking to eventually upgrading my turbo to an FP red or black and possibly stroking the motor one day to a 2.2. I dont know if any of that will affect which head gasket to get. Any thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

-you only need new guides if they are worn.

-skip the hks 272's. I'd into GSC S2's or FP4R's. There are some other good cams, I'm sure others will chime in.

-Stock valve size is plenty until (depending to who you're talking to) to about 700-800 HP. If you decide on oversized valves, you need to have a machine shop cut the seats bigger.

-The OEM Mitsubishi head gasket.

-You would stroke to a 2.3L btw

-S2's with their beehive springs/retainers
-some ARP head studs
-dont worry about valves, guides or seals unless they are damaged/worn
-OEM head gasket
-FMIC- there's a ton of options and everyone has their preference, I have an ETS FMIC and piping kit
-whats wrong with your stock radiator?

just my .02

+1 to every bit of this. I'd also like to add that you should go with the GSC beehives. And if you plan on pushing some serious power, go with a cometic gasket otherwise you're fine with stock

Sorry, had a brain fart- 94mm crank makes a 2.2, 100mm crank makes a 2.3!

Thanks guys! all very helpful info. This actually saves me some money for more mods!

The reason i need a new radiator is my exhaust manifold is hitting my current hose, I have the Invidia manifold so I need to get the CBRD radiator to offset the hose because its slowly burning a hole through it which is bad.
