Yes, you will be very close to it. You will have full spool very very fast.

an E8 turbo is going to run out big time up top on a 2.4.

From what I've been able to find for my 2.3 im building, my E6 (same as E8) it will run out of air around 5.5-6k.

Not sure what youd be able to make on E85 though

You are going to be taxing the VIII turbo pretty bad with a 2.4 setup with E85, a HTA green would be a nice addition.

400 should be a very easy number to hit though esp with the added displacement. Just for camparisons sake a friend of mine running a stock block (head, cams, TB, intake) in his IX on E85 made 411whp with just the standard bolt ons.

More power across the board given you are moving more air. Turbo will spool faster than a smaller setup as well.

RPM capability is limited somewhat though. For Drag you want to be able to rev higher to make use of bigger turbos, smaller displacement is usually whats ideal here 2.0 or 2.1.

An engine is just a glorified air pump when you think about it, the more you can move efficently the more power you can make.

It will be a toss up, you should be able to make the power, but you might have issues running the stock 8 turbo.

Definately think about upgrading that turbo and you wont have any problems.

I've got a 2.4 with an FP Green that I just installed this week. I busted my oil filter housing installing the fp oil line kit so I had to wait for it to come in. I'll start tuning on Thursday or Friday and I'll have a virtual dyno done then too. Search BBY Build and stay posted. It's gonna be nasty

May I ask why are you wanting to stay with the stock turbo on a stroker? The stock turbo is optimized for the 2.0 displacement. You need to crunch the numbers or better yet search on here for what all the guys are running with the 2.4 strokers. IMHO though

I had an FP Red on it and it was blown. I wanted some better city driving (I never drive highway) And honestly I was curious to see what I could push the Green to. I want to try a bunch of different setups too. After the Green (probably before the end of the year) I want to go with a 35R or similar on E85. Then maybe I'll finish it off with the STM 6262 FF Kit on E85.

If that was meant for the OP, then my bad but why not try different set ups and do crazy ****?! That's the point in doing what we do right? Just to see how far we can push ****.
