Enjoying your Evo
Ok To try and make the poll above a little more clear:
WHO HAS TAKEN THIER EVO TO A ROAD RACING CIRCUIT?
I asked -
So who's been out enjoying their car this year?
- becuase if you haven't run it at a road racing circuit, your eyes will most likely pop out of your head when your eyes are opened to just what this car can really do, not just the 20-30% you may have explored on the streets.
At this point, I'd venture the the poll is moot.. Is the chad considered punched if it's still attached by 10%? what about 50%....
Next time I'll do my best to keep it to one simple sentence in super bold flashing MTV style display in under 10 words.

i was out of my evo for 2 weeks when it was getting repaired from some *** rear ending me. i was stuck with a chevy trailblazer. chevy and SUV, bad combo for me. having the car back the last few days really makes you realize how wicked this car is. get the high setting on the greddy EBC and its really cold out where i am, in the teens and 20's. actually pulled on a vette today. beautiful.

Can't...stop...driving...
Broke it in on Route 1 while following an unmarked CHP Interceptor all the way from Monterey to San Luis Obispo. He would lose me on the straights, and I would catch him on the corners.
I hit the 600 mile mark while in LA looking for an apartment. I would exit on cloverleafs and freeway corkscrews just becuase they looked like fun. Changed the oil and filter at 1300.
Could not stop grinning while taking the normally boring Interstate 5 on the way back to Emeryville. I especially enjoyed the look on tailgaters faces when I dumped it into fourth gear and very quickly put about three miles between me and them. The wing really does work at high speeds!
Almost 1900 miles and every one of them a good time.
Sweet.

Try under the hood - I stuck a couple there for you.
Btw, how can there be ANY no votes (7 so far)? How can an Evo owner NOT enjoy the car? The entire point of the car is to have fun in it.
