cosworth is very overpriced. there are plenty of other good options like buschur, ams, gsc, maperformance, english racing, etc. i had headgames do mine.

yea its pretty expensive but its great quality, not saying that other companies cant do the same, also cosworth is giving you a brand new head thats why its so much more, But thanks, I'll look into it, i heard lots of good things about headgames

rebuilding a head has advantages and disadvantages. yea with cosworth you know what your getting top of the line pretty much. From my experience rebuilding a head with a solid usable core will def be up to par with some of the other options such as ams, buschur etc. depending on how experienced the machinist is and the selection of vavletrain that goes into the head (springs, retainers, guides, valves) Price wise it will probably save you money to rebuild your own head, with some very good results. Ive built a couple 4g63 motors and ive always rebuilt the head and have had no issues running some good power and high rpms.

its really not worth it. their good products and perform well, but there is no need for a brand new core and other companies have proven to make more power.

alot of people think that headwork is all the same, the truth is just a good valve job can make 10-15 hp easily
