Lip or Splitter for dd evo
I have a APR splitter, I've stepped on it, rammed it into some curbs and what have you its still there just chilling. My car sits lower than it should(can't get over speed bumps lol) but the splitter seems to be the way to go for me. You might have the same luck. And yes I DD mine.
go with a lip. the lips for the EVO aren't much lower, if any, than the stock lip. splitters sit below the lip, have those hideous hangers drilled into the bumper, and stick out 3-4" in front of the bumper. if you don't NEED a splitter, don't run one. stick with a lip.
i have a ralliart replica front lip with an apr splitter. i daily drive it and track the **** out of it. You just have to be a little more careful when you drive around with the splitter on.
ralliart pu lip is an excellent choice! my ride isnt lowered that much maybe half
inch from stock ant the lip doesnt hang low either it has more of a foward design kinda like a splitter. I still have to be careful on dips and such but its well worth it, noticed the car feels more stable at highway speeds than without one (broke off the stock one).
A little off topic, but a related question. Does anyone know of a lip that works with the stock undertray? All the lips I've read about have shown complaints about the undertray not clipping to the aftermarket lips. Just curious if it exists or if they all need some modification to make it work.
