I just installed the EPM o2 dump and went to test drive the car and my boost gauge is only reading 20psi on WOT, but the car still pulls hard. Any idea why this is happening?

What was your boost before?

 

I'm tuned at 25psi gauge only wants to go to 20psi

Boost is back pressure. The new 02 dump freed up some of the restiction of the exhaust system. Would be the same if you had a 2" exhaust system then went to a 3". Your boost would go down but you would actually be making more power.

 

That makes sense.

 

Mine does the same thing, still haven't figured out what it is but my tuner says it's an exhaust leak.

 

Did you go from the stock, cast iron, factory O2 housing to the EPM dump? What is your complete modlist?

 

What gear are you reading the 20# peak in?

 

What happens if you try and crank boost back up to the 25# level with your MBC?

 

20psi at wot in every gear haha... I did turn up the mbc and gauge moved 1 psi. So now it's 21psi, I'm guessing that it's a good thing my gauge is still able to move after adjusting my mbc
