I had mitsubishi look at the car, on the oil housing the fp oil line is connected to where one of the HEX bolts were ( the small ones ) There's a big bolt thats on and another hex bolt thats it. No lines are present.

From that description sounds like you don't have one and need to get one. Do you have a gauge showing you the oil temp? How are you keeping track of the oil temps since you say it's not overheating?

I had a oil pressure gauge on the car before i did the FP Red i don't remember what the oil was running at. If i have to take a guess it was 160-180? I'm not 100% sure though i don't remember. Where can i get a good inexpensive oil cooler that does the job?

Plenty of people omit the oil cooler post engine failure. Certainly doesn't hurt to have one, but I believe quite a few believe it to be unnecessary.

I think it would be safer to run a oil cooler though. If it was designed by Mitsubishi then there must be a need for it.

I have the STM kit that they have available, it's money well spent and easy to install.

Alright looks like i will be going with the STM kit then, again no one recommends the Mishimoto one? It's relatively cheaper.

the mishimoto looks universal, who knows what else you will need to install it. the stm is known to be a good kit that includes everything you need to install it.

Are you talking about the mishimoto oil cooler, then you'd have to source your own lines for it. I don't recall them making a kit with lines and fittings.
