No, the OEM bumpers come pre-painted from the factory in Japan.

will do buddy!

fixing the motor and body at the same time...

It's going to be at least a month to get everything done, but i will post pics from start to finish.

I'll start by posting up some pics of both the front and rear bumper, not painted later today.

When it comes to the jdm rear, don't go the cheap way. Spend the $$$$ and get the real deal. Save yourself the headache of having to make s*** fit right. Remember you get what you
Paid for.

i have a vis front bumper and and rear diffuser. they both look great but need mods for the bumper which they needed to put brackets to support the weight. as for the rear diffuser you need 4 brackets to keep it from waving and breaking

lol theres just always have to be one guy in every thread about kits that says you get what you pay for. well i think for the most of us we rather spend the extra $$$ on mods to make our cars faster than for aesthetics that will probably and eventually break/scratch and will have to repair it/repaint it.

**** yea! that **** is ****!
any pics of the rear diffusers?
and where did you put the brackets?
see? this is what im talking about.
theres too many purists that spend an arm and a leg for these kits with the risk of still messing it up, especially with the real CF Voltex fronts. and it looks the same as someone buying a copy. i would rather buy a copy kit anyday and use the extra 2 or 3 grand i saved on fixing it once it broke which i doubt it will happen often .

plus i honestly think if you buy the real thing, the only ppl that would know what it is or be impress are dudes. why would you spend 4-5k on a kit to impress dudes? ill bet you any chick wont know the difference between real and fake voltex LOL .

for the front bumper bracket its right in front of the wheels. for the rear difusser some shops place them in the front right in the middle of the 2 difussers on the rear bumper and some place them in the back right next to the exhaust pipe bracket. but i said put all 4 of them! better safe than sorry =]

i also agree with the spending hundred's instead of g's just to have VOLTEX. it gives the same head turner but personally i think the VIS will get more attention since it looks way more agressive. the only thing i paid a lot for is my side skirts because its the new VARIS super taikyu frp side skirt. had to wait for 3 months but it was worth the wait and every penny because i believe i'm the only one in texas who has it! in TEXAS!!! that's a big *** state =]

word of advice though if you do get this front bumper ditch the undertray because that's just way more weight for the car and it will build up water when you wash it due to the angle of how its going to be
