That is interesting... Do you have any info on this? Is your dad a process engineer/have a lot of knowledge on cars/just heard this from someone?

^^ Actually he's a doctor, he uses small magnets to relieve pain in the human body. He got the idea from a kit they sell in mexico for better mileage, iam not familiar with the name brand, anyway he herd about this and applied his own magnets on the fuel line. The change is noticeable but not major. Try goggle

WTH? really?

Is there something wrong with it? I did not even think that was possible on an evo. I would like more information on this, it sounds so odd to me.

I assure you so called evolved members that this is no joke! I may be a newbie here but cars are not my only interest. No there not fridge magnets either, these are high quality neodymium magnets. You can make jokes all you want I get a laugh from them to but the fact of the matter is this, Who here is getting up to 27 MPG??????? I know I am

Oh and dont believe everything you see on the boob tube. Iam only tryn to help the op get better
mileage, try fuel injector cleaner, we find it helps with long distance drives and maybe it can help you
in your inner city drive.

I am, but no magnets. The magnet thing sounds like those tornado's people put in their intakes.

IMO, gas maliage comes down to 4 things for my cars:
1. Quality tune
2. Quality regular maintainence
3. Driving style
4. Topography in your area

i don't understand how any of this data will help you reach a valid conclusion.. i mean there's different elevations, different amounts of mileage spent in the city and highway, driving habits, modifications, etc..

I'm an engineer...maybe I like data too much, but since my car is running fine I wanted to see if there was a correlation to the mileage and the aero components that are installed on the cars..
