Extreme Road conditions.

Hi this being my first post id like some feedback pls.

Lets begin by making it clearer, other than the daily commute in pavement have any of you guys hit the dirt, snow, gravel, rain, etc since this being a rally auto. Details on your adventure would be greatly appriciated.

Id like to share one story, this taking palce in Mexico a few years back, I was on a dirt road near a pretty well known lake, it was my first time so i was very excited to feel the sheer power and control thru the turns, especialy exiting out, I noticed after comin off a turn sideways the car would re align itself just by feathering off the throtle. I was vey pleased to finaly feeling the car in action, sheers everyone.

My driveway is a 2 mile long gravel road. Anytime I go anywhere I get to have fun if I want. Some places are pretty challenging as there are fences on either side and trees and a drop off into the creek. Everyone asks y my car is always dirty and I simply say if u owned an evo and lived on a gravel road yours would stay that way as well. Over the years I have gotten pretty good at driving my road. The fastest I have taken it was at about 60mph wit a friend. He screamed like a little girl everytime the car slid sideways. And its even more fun and difficult when it snows.

I loved driving my Evo in the snow this passed winter. Me and a couple subaru buddys went out and had some fun late one night. We made a video of it, you can only see my car in a couple clips bc we left early bc I had to work the next morning but nonetheless the video turned out cool as hell. Next time were gonna have a go-pro on my car as well

I live in MN, car is daily driven year-round.

There were a couple snowfalls this past winter where I was plowing snow on the local highways, well after they had been declared unsafe for snow plows... At the speed limits no less.

Snow gets messy too when it melts and the roads get slushy. And not only that but those of us who bought our cars sans undertray need to visit DIY carwashes and spend $20 getting all of the packed snow out of the engine bay after a night of parking lot shenanigans, otherwise the engine heat and overnight refreezing will turn it into a giant chunk of ice around the steering rack, which can cause a laundry list of issues if left alone.

I see, I stand corrected, not to familiar with that type of road condition now I know thanks. I would like to hear some stories about rally style driving if anyone here would like to share and keep this thread going, pics or videos along with some commentary would be splendid. No track or autoxing, for it seems everyone and there mom does it but me. So come on people, talk dirty to me.
