Building a 4G63 from ground up CE9A / 2nd gen EVOs

Hi guys,

I'm so in love with my evo and I've decided to build an engine on my own. Is there anywhere that i could get information on torque wrench settings on how to install the internal parts of the engine? such as the cranks, conrods and pistons?

I hope this falls under the correct topic and i hope someone out there could help me out. Things which I have now:

1. 100mm billet crank
2. 150mm eagle crank
3. 87mm wiseco custom pistons
4. 4G63 CE9A block
6. ACL bearings
7. HKS 272deg racing cams
8. HKS valve springs + retainers
9. duratech +1mm oversized valves + valve guides
10. adj HKS campulleys
12. balance shaft eliminator kit
13. ARP studs top + bottom

I dont know where to start. I just got my block from the machine shop / bored it to 87mm. I'm tryin to build a race engine on my own and I hope somone could help me out on the torque wrench settings on how to install the internal parts. I'm treating this as my passionate hobby and for the love of engine building so i decided to build one of my own. Thanks.

your not going to get a response as a newbie (post wise) for a question that could/will take pages and pages for someone to write... spend the time and search...

^ Agreed with above.

_Get a good Service Manual. Preferably the Factory Service Manual. This will give your TQ specs and show you how the parts go together at very least.

FSM on CD can be purchased on E-Bay. Or you can search around and download the PDF off the internet

As for TQ specs yup pretty standard except when using upgraded fasteners from say ARP for Rod Bolts, Head Studs etc.. Then follow ARP's specification for TQ
