Synapse BOV: Which one did I recieve?!?!?!

The long and the short of the story is this. I was on the phone with Brian from STM for another reason, when I asked him if they sold Synapse BOV's. He replied yes, I told him I would like to order the Evo specific kit. Approx 10 days later I recieved the BOV (which was yestersay 4/9). After opening the box I see what is not all the other BOV's I have seen on numerous threads here being the small compact all black BOV. I am in no way shape or form blaming Brian or STM, just want to know do I have a older style, newer style, style for another vehicle which was labled wrong? Not sure if I want to use it as it is pretty big and seems to weigh an awful lot for a BOV. Anyone have any input?

Thats the one I use - it's the BOV not the BPV. Works good, doesn't leak or cause surge

synapse calls the small one the " diverter valve" the one you have is a great valve as its been tested numerous times out to 100 psi!.

Like others have said, that's the BOV, not the DV. I recently installed them same one, absolutely love it

As stated above that's the BOV not the DV. The DV looks like this:

You don't need this unless you're boosting anything over ~26psi

Thanks for all the input guys. I would chalk this one up to being my fault as I did ask for the wrong item. I didnt realize Synapse made a Evo "BOV" and "DV". Though they were classified as the same thing. Oh well. Look for a brand new Synapse BOV for sale!
