I personally never purchase anything from ebay too much risk of fraud and when it seems too good to be true it usually is.

Always go check a vehicle out before you make a decision.

honestly, that looks like a really good deal, but like they say...if something looks too good to be true...it probably is...if your really considering it, do your self a favor and fly out and check/test drive the car first. what's a couple of hundred bucks on a plane ticket for your reassurance that your not getting a lemon from ebay..

Seems like a legit car, Reserve not met, and selling by the dealer. Defenetly look the dealer up and give them a call to see what going on with it.

what he said. I found mine on ebay...luckily the seller was honest and I felt I got a fair deal for a clean low mileage evo. I did travel about 1000 miles to get the car and had only seen pics online and spoke with owner about the car, so it was a little nerve racking on the way there. If I had to do it again, I would reach out to a member here who knows evo's and have them check it out.

On another note. I saw a "nice" looking evo on ebay for a really good price. And it happened to be local. I check it out and it was totally F'd up....none of which was in the car ad on ebay. There were bids on it too for WAY over what it should have gone for. Be careful, there are plenty of scammers out there, no matter where you buy the car from.

Good luck finding your EVO!

Thanks for the input guys, I have just been looking around for an evo that's not your everday, average style car. The price on the car on the dealer's website is like 46 grand, which seems priced ridiculously high if you ask me?

I've owned 3 supra TT's; 2 6 spd's and 1 built auto over the last ~10 years or so. I thought I would die with my supra in the garage. But honestly, I'm glad I moved on and picked up my evo. It's something different. I personally wanted a sports car with 4 doors, awd and a turbo . EVO seemed the right choice for me, especially if I wanted to upgrade it in the future. Haven't looked back so far. Maybe someday I'll get another supra, but probably keep the evo if I do. Good luck man.

that car looks mean and has some nice parts on it. i would be super skeptical of 8800 miles though being that it is almost 10 years old and the odometer picture is pretty blury. try to find and talk to the builder/owner of the car and see what you can find out

looks suspect to me.....the car looks good but $140,000 is a bit absurd to spend on a car that only makes around 700hp on AV gas.

Sounds like the chassis has more than 82000 miles on it (according to AutoCheck) but the engine and everything else only has 8800 miles on it. And why is it the only pic that's blurry is the odometer pic, I wouldn't do it if I were you.
