Took my 8 onto the dunes!

After much deliberation, I decided to take my car into the dunes. Had a complete blast! Found a nice pretty steep 200 foot dune and proceeded to do some 50 ft power slides across the face of it. It threw people for a loop when they heard my 35r spool and get rowdy. One guy told me he was looking around for a hopped up rail and he didnt believe it was a little import. The car handled the sand amazing and not even a hint of it getting stuck. Just aired the g force ta's down to 20lbs and went for a spin. I find it pretty funny when sand rails and lifted trucks are giving my thumbs up and telling me how bad *** it was to watch. Pismo beach is amazing right now and I can't wait to go back out Thursday and get some pics and videos! I'll upload em as soon as I get back into town. Anyone debating taking there car out for a spin should not hesitate. It's a blast. Just make sure you get it nice and clean once you get out of the sand.

And also before anyone tells me how horrible of a person I am for taking my car into sand, save it. I know the details on what harm the sand can cause and above all else, it's my car. I paid for it to enjoy it how I please. And yes, the car will be pressure washed, and have ALL fluids changed.

I would be so scared to do that in my car, but it sounds like a blast.

No vids yet. I have a few pics, and I should have videos by Thursday. I'll post em up. You totally should take it out. Just make sure to clean it up real nice after. I feel like I'll be taking 3/4 of the beach with me back to Fresno. Haha

Hey!! I called you guys on Sunday!! I was having an issue with my car at constant acceleration. You suggested a boost leak and you were spot on! Got it all buttoned up. If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't have been able to go out and play in the sand. I'm not sure who I talked to, but thanks again!!

Like I said, I had to cruise back to Fresno to take care of my business, but I'll be heading back to pismo on Thursday night. I'll have my video camera as well. Wasn't really prepared for it last time. Didn't think I'd have the ***** to take it out. Haha.
