Starting problem

Hey guys, having starting issues with my IX. It has a Haltech E11V2 and is fairly modified; AMS GT35R kit, forged internals, bored .020 over. and supporting mods. After I get it started it runs fine but getting it started is well, a chore. It cranks fine but thats all it does. I know with it being speed density I have to feather the peddle when cranking( or so I was told). Any help would be great.

and yes checked fuel, spark, starter, and battery.

Im thinking its a battery or starter problem. or maybe its the pos and neg cables running from the battery to the starter. I have a red top Optima but its been relocated to the trunk. It doesnt sound like its cranking fast enough. But its a good battery. Has anyone had power problems after relocating it?

mine battery has been relocated to the trunk for several years now. the only time i have starting problems is when its really cold out like -20 or so. other than that no problems. i have a kinetik battery... How old is your starter? i had 110000 miles on my original one and just replaced it.
