Guys with rims.

Ok so apparently our stock offset on a evo 8 is a 38. So if we get custom rims, we should be getting something as close as possible to a 38 right. But if the offset is different then am i suppose to go higher then a 38 or a lower offset to clear the brembo's thanks.

Whether or not you clear the Brembos depends on the rim. The offset is higher, the further away from the center of the rim you go.

clearance has as much to do with offset as well as wheel design...for example if you have deep dish wheel with a low offset chances are they wouldn't clear the brembos.

read through the ultimate aggressive wheel thread in the show n shine section...most set ups are kinda extreme but you'll get the idea

aside from that search around wheel/tire/brake section

you are asking elementary questions and could benefit from searching
