Please help me.

I bought a used seat belt, and the airbags from that car were not deployed. But i cant unroll it? I try to roll it up and the metal piece with teeth hides and then when i attempt to unroll it, the metal piece with teeth comes out and locks. Its really hard to explain and i have read alot of things online but maybe there is a trick to mitsubishi Please help if you know anything thanks

Did you bolt them in and try?

The inertia/momentum switch will not let the belt move if at an angle. Just like if you were trying to put a belt on when someone jams on the brakes.

That is exactly right on most cars. I'd try that first.
