I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way i do. At some point or another u think about selling your car due to kids or bill or just to get another EVO or something different. Problem is i could never sell it for some of the prices that people would offer. I have a 2005 WW RS with only 20000 miles. She's really clean Show quality with clean mods at 430WHP. I dont get to enjoy it much because i'm always so busy with work and all other things in life. It's paid off and recently was thinking to sell it to persue my private pilots license. Here is the crazy part. If i sell it i wont take any less than 30K...lmao. yea i know but that is what its worth to me...Who feels the same way?

while I wouldnt be expecting anywhere near 30k for my evo, i know how you feel. i have an 04 that is just about to break 60k. i have gone back and forth about selling it and getting something my practical for my job or just a change of pace. but ultimately for what people are offering, there is nothing even close to affordable that I would be interested in buying.

gt3rs, gt2, e92 M3, sure id trade. but thats not going to happen. so i always find myself just enjoying driving her on the daily, and will be for the foreseeable future.

And thats why i will also own my EVO forever because i won't sell it cheaper that what i think its worth in my mind.

Hell my 130k mile 03 is worth 8k if that. If I was offered 30k tomorrow I wouldn't sell it.

To many amazing years of blood sweat and tears.

I have 38k miles on my car total with 3k miles on the new motor at over 600hp. The interior is in pristine condition and the outside will be next week (after a trip to the body shop).

I believe the car is worth $32k+ for how much power it puts out and the amount of things done to it, but I know for certain I would never get that much. I'm just going to keep it.

Agree 100% . Plus you got a beast. My car is also paid off so its not like im losing money every month. Problem is if i keep i really want to build which is going to cost god who know how much but it's not cheap. i'm sure you know that for your impressive power

I just sold mine. Sure I put a bit of money in her with mods maybe $2000 and I sold it for 22k with 41000 miles. I only paid $20800 for it with 29000 miles. It was a 2005 ww regular evo. I got my time out of it and finally got my ww ix. So I have what I want now and it'll take a hefty amount to part with it. So I agree 100% with you.

After building a car it just isn't worth selling it, especially if you're really into cars. Cause if someone gave you 20k+.... what the hell are you gonna do with 20k? lol

Buy some stock pos with rims, drive it, think about how bad you miss your beast, sell the pos, buy another beast or build one AGAIN! lol
