These gaudy paintjobs, useless bodykits, and big chrome wheels on Evos makes me wonder what is wrong with us in the USA. I mean everyone makes fun of Honda owners for doing this crap, and then these same people turnaround and do the same exact stuff to their Evos..... How sad :/
I couldn't agree more........their car stereotypes of cars over here are pretty dead on. All you have to do is drive around on a friday night in Anytown USA to see that. The entire car culture in Europe is just so much better than here.....whether it's on the street or on the track. Over here we've got NASCAR and ricers with NOS and chameleon paint jobs.....over there they've got 500hp R32's and F1/MotoGP races on the telly every weekend. But hey, the weather sucks *** over there so what are ya' gonna do

Go to Germany and see for yourself how German rice is widespread over there. It's sickening.

The term "prop shaft" is generally used to refer to the coupling shaft between the engine and transmission in a front-engine, rear-tranny vehicle. The Corvette C5 has a prop shaft, for example.

“Prop Shaft ” is short for “Propeller Shaft” as in propel which is to move, push or drive something. It’s a widely used term throughout the world.

I wish I was paid in quid, the exchange rate would be helpin' me out right now.

As far as this driveshaft propshaft stuff is concerned, what I thought was the driveshaft (front to rear in a RWD for instance) is apparently called the propshaft. And what I thought was a propshaft or halfshaft (from the diff to the wheels) is called the driveshaft.

I think it's funny that they make fun of our cars, lol.

However, look at the cars they have over there. Who the heck would buy a Vauxhall Corsa? It's even fuglier than the new Civic Si's.

BTW, I am of British accesntory.

The Fords in Britain are FAR better than the ones here in the states, and the Vauxhall VX220

Petro? Labaitory? Are they 'special' American spellings for some English words? Let's not forget what language you Americans claim to speak: English. Now, who is that you think invented the language? The English, maybe? I find it highly amusing when Americans criticise the English spelling of words.

They've had the Evo for a while, along with the STi. They might not make them, but at least they had the good sense to import them (unlike a certain country that only picked up on the idea this year). Then, let's not forget about vehicles such as the Noble M12, Vauxhal VX220, Lotus Elise, etc. If you're going to make fun of the cars then at least pick on something downright humiliating such as the Smart car or the Ford Ka. But, if you've ever been to big cities like London, or ever had to buy petrol (gas) ine England, then you see that cars like this have a place in the market. My sister drives a Ka and thinks it's hot ****. I think it's the ugliest piece of crap Ford has ever churned out.

Umm, you don't really want to brag about Jaguar and Land Rover electrical systems, do you? (Pre Ford and BMW ownership)

So, England decided to import the Evo? Well, I'm so glad George W. Bush got the message.

Like I said on the MLR forum, there's poor taste on both sides of the pond.

And just for the record, I didn't even touch the whole dentistry thing.

BTW, I've dated two English birds. One from Buxton, Derbyshire and one from Enfield, Middlesex. Cheers.

Ka is a very old platform, when the car was first relased, it was v.popular all around Europe(Im Polish), and Im amazed its still selling pretty well without much redesign. Any small class car looks similar(Nissan Micra, Citroen C2, Peugeot 206 etc.) its small, tall, economical and stands out in a crowd(well not anymore since they all look like that...).
About CF on black car, theyre right, any color but plz not black.
And that cameleon paint(He's interior is also painted) cost him $8000 and I think its the shizzle.
