So i tried my ac today and it does not work. it only blows hot air out.
I tried recharging the system. BUT, when i plugged in the recharging spray can, it was all way up at the overcharged mark. what should i do....?

 

Check fuses first. If all are good lay on ur back under your dash and look at the mixer box as you turn the temp knob. Do all the plastic gears move freely? Are they binding? Is the cable bent like mine was and not moving the gears at all? Report back with your findings. The 03s ac are known to go out because of the mixer box because the lack of a cabin filter. If your lucky and its only the wire like mine install a cabin filter asap. If your not as lucky and the mixer box doors are binded shut get ready for a major diy or take the 1300 dollar loss the dealership will charge u in the *** because if the mixer box is effed the whole dash must come out.

 

yeah i would say check the linkage from the climate controls to see if it has been bent or damadged. you can turn the controll knob and actuate the mixer box lever with your hand at the same time if you want it to go all the way cold. Fuses were a great idea to look at aswell. worse case senerio is the linkage is bent in the controls or the clutch for the ac compressor is not working properly.
