Need new downpipe hardware, and hitting the oil pan

2003 Evo 8
Stock 02
Stock turbo
3 inch Cat back exhaust

Where do you buy need hardware for a TurboXS downpipe

I got a downpipe about 4 months ago and I installed it on my stock O2 with oem gaskets and it was leaking, not just a little it was really bad.

I did search and looks like i need a 3 inch doughnut gasket. Where can you buy that for my car, Advanced Auto does not understand aftermarket parts, they said that this is not even possible to put a 3 inch downpipe on my car lol

All I need is a hardware kit anyone buy one before or where I can buy new ones from?

Also any one install a 3 inch and have it hitting the oil pan? Its really bad hitting it not sure bc i dont have the right gasket but still dont want to put a hole in the oil pan or heat the oil anymore than it is already. Any tips on how to fix the clearance issue.

Thanks for the help.

I would think with the right gasket the dp should clear the oil pan.

And for a little advice, I'd heat wrap the dp...as the dp runs so close to the pan that it heats up the oil...the wrap will keep that heat away from the oil...just my two cents.

I will have to try the heat wrap and see how it works, But i can not use a OEM exhaust gasket due to its too small and does not fit the size of the downpipe. I need a true 3 in one.

I got an xs exhuast and im using the oem gasket and after you tigthen down the spring bolts. it becomes a very tight seal. and plus the heat helps alot with the the gasket fit ment. And plus i heat wraped mine as well with DEI and its saves alot of temperature and it does bang against the oil pan.

I found this on another site:

Edit: (but it uses its own donut gakset and bolts(included with kit)

Ben

it can not use the same exhaust donut bc the turboXS and has a much larger inlet from the o2 housing so it has to use a larger one.

You need the stock Donut gasket as this is what all of them use as the Stock o2 houseing is 2.5 inner diameter the outside is 3" where it goes into the DP.
