Any fix for radiator

Hello all, Sorry if this has been covered before. On the radiator, under the cap there is a plastic outlet for the steam connected to a rubber tube, well the plastic broke off where it connects to the radiator. I dont think superglue with hold it and i dont think just plugging it with something will be smart... and don't want to spend the extra $$ for a whole new radiator, mostly stock, just a few bolt-on so don't think I need a aftermarket one. What about plastic welding.? Thanks all.

The cooling system is unforgiving on these cars. Get the engine hot and warp the head. You need to buy a new radiator.

Went to picked up some JB Weld, letting it harden right now, not sure how it going to work, haven't used it first hand really... so not sure, yeah, plastic... heat up, cool, heat, cool, it will snap.

Won't hold properly. I've been down that road. Just pony up for a new one, and might as well upgrade while you're in the process.

I wouldn't risk welding it, this may be a good excuse for you to buy a new aftermarket rad. Or if you have a low budget just pick up an OEM, in the evoM market place for around $80.

Well... On my 3rd day of driving it with JB Weld as the "fix" and holding pretty good. No leaks or steam as before, temp is about the same too. So, JB Weld FTW

You wont know if its going to really hold till you actually get it hot enough to make the radiator cap open up to release pressure. If you need a price on a new one PM me and Ill take care of you!

+1... I think you are sitting on a ticking time bomb man. I agree with all the above replies, you are better off in the long run just getting a new radiator. Mostly because putting a band aid on something that needs stitches is never a good idea. And secondly as we are almost halfway to July and you are in TX(I think) if the weld lets go on you it will be at the most inopportune time... like getting stuck on I-10 or 20 during rush hour. Not a good look.
