Well is just been over 5 days since I picked the Evo up, and like everyone said the grin still hasn't left. Kinda fun on the first drive home and a little scary, I didn't expect the turbo to spool so fast and so hard
Had to take part of the day off to go and pick it up and it seemed like a friggin car show outside when I got back. Not to many I've seen floating around Milwaukee, but hopefully the will change
I have always had the mod bug, and the never ending quest to go faster quicker. I tried to wait until after x-mas but......that didn't happen. Does everyone spend a little longer out in the garage per day since you got the car, or just a little longer going to the store, or try and make an excuse to go somewhere???? I do. Just gotta get the whole garage for myself.
I remember when I was 13 looking at the 90 ZX at the dealership and said DAMN!!!! Then my dad looked at the sticker price and said DAMN!!!!! But I always like the shape of the car so I bought one 3 years ago, still have it
Then I started reading up on all imports except honda. Then about 5 months ago I saw my first EVO on the road and got the whole kid in the candy store feeling. So I bought one of those too

From there as follows:
3" Exhaust TB
S-afc
EBC
FMIC
and thats as far as I got, small steps at first
doubt if I will dynoflash, I see no real purpose to do it if I already am doing the s-afc, right???? Not to knock Al but from what I hear he puts out an awsome product, kudos. But I am not the type of person to let anyone touch my car (little bit ****) I've done all the work to my 300 and will do the same to the Evo. Wiring is sort of a natural thing to me, and the fact that I can say I did it, not some person I paid.
Not to start a flame war but if you want your car to be yours, do the stuff you can do yourself or try and learn to, thats half the fun.
Hope to meet some of the midwest people in the spring or summer. I will be going to the DSM shootout in August, sounds fun, anything to get my outta this city for a while!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No hate on seeing what you can do buy tuning the car yourself with the AFC, but dynoflash is almost too good to be true. 20-30+awhp gains STOCK, not one single modification, also if you are dissatisfied with the flash, Al will flash the ecu back to stock, AND you will get your money back! Anyways, keep us posted on the S-AFC tune.

Done't waste too much tiem and money on the pieces which will be gone in a few years. Be sure to spend your time and money wisely and mod the nut behing the wheel. Get to a local road racing circuit and prepare for super-burnination... err to be really wowed!
