what I found under my valve cover today

what I found under my valve cover today

Well my car was smoking slightly at idle and I would get a puff at startup. It wasnt anything too bad but I suspected the valve stem seals and it looks like I was right. If you look closely the lip that holds the spring is missing from all the exhaust seals and all the springs were floating around the valve stems.

Be glad u found them when u did before they found their way someplace they shouldn have been. I wonder how that happened?

82000 and kelford 272 cams/gsc bee hive springs. The PO did the cams and springs 10k miles ago idk why he didn't do the seals too

My seals looked pretty messed up also but it was because I put the oem seals with dual springs.....oops lol.
