Question EVO 6 or EVO 7?

Being a newbie I have a question! Which would you prefer to drive?

(i) A EVO 6 GSR with a 340hp upgrade

or

(ii) A EVO 7 GSR with a 340hp upgrade

Let me know which one, being in the UK we prefer the EVO 6 as it is a more pure EVO than the newer 7version.

Also has anyone seen the story in a UK mag about the modded EVO that reached 186mph on the M25 (freeway) around London?

I don't understand what you mean by "more pure" but uh...I'd take the 6 for the looks alone.

By 'more pure' I mean that the EVO 6 is more hardcore, better steering feedback, driving pleasure and of course looks! The 7 I drove felt softer, to appeal to a wider range of customers.

Definitely the VI on the merit of looks and performance. People say it's downrigth the best of the breed. I don't believe the VII's suspension was muted in anyway though unless you drove the GT-A (which I don't think is out in Europe )

Unfortunatley I do know of the GT-A version, an EVO with a auto box! Now available in the UK for $42,695, would not own one if it was free!!

Yeah i read that story was in either redline or Max Power, the thing was pumped over 600 bhp i thinks... sweetness . If i had to pick from those 2 it would def be EVO VI but out of all the evos the evil EVO V front has gotta do it for me

I had a yellow VI driven by a triad member looking guy tailgating me yesterday and I really felt that VI looks like a punk's car... too flashy IMO.

Exclamation

Definitely an EVO 7. At least you will have a newer one (new body lancer) compared to everyone else. Plus you have the electronic traction control.
