I have a problem with my 03 evo. At about 3000 rpm just before boost, I get a misfire in the motor. In order to get it under control, I have to back off the throttle and accelerate to at least 10 psi. No one can seem to find the problem. Has anyone else had these issues and if so what was the correction, I'm really frustrated driving this car....

 

Man you're probably going to need to take it somewhere. If you're in NC, Force Fed or Spec Ops may be able to help.

It could be a coil, the tune, a plug, or many other things.
