im positive this has been talked about before but i cant find the thread. my question is if i put a 9 motor in my 8 obviously other then the motor what else will need to be swap if anything?.. like does everything bolt up the same like ac ps ect ect ect

 

Engine Harness and ECU

 

For sure the harness and ECU, the 9 motor has MIVEC. Turbo and boost might be an issue if yours is still stock as they're not the same. Intake system and BOV are not identical, but you're going to run into a lot of little things that will be irritating, yet not impossible. I also seem to remember the fuel pumps not being the same.

 

Do your research a lil harder it is possible and been done pretty simple..
you'll need several pieces from a 9 that differ from the eight
