When I first picked my evo up about two years ago it had yellow fog lights. They were h11 12v 55w. About two months went by and one went out, so I ordered some optilux extreme yellow h11 12v 55w xenon bulbs and replaced just the blown one. Fast forward to about 2 months ago and the other finally went out, having one left I replaced it. Just a few days ago the other one went out I had just replaced. Wtf? Are these bulbs cheap or something? Kinda crappy to spend 20 bucks and they only last a little while.

 

Have you tried the stock fog light bulbs? I've had mine for 5.5 years and have used them quite a bit and still on the originals

 

I had some of those 55watt yellow ones in mine and it crapped out...I was reading up on them and a lot of people have had them do this.I love the yellow fogs though but I will not be spending any money on bulbs that burn out in a month.I'm going to 3000k hids that way they last long and they are only like $75.

 

Optilux Extreme is a cheap brand. Something quality like Nokya H11 fogs would be good but are now hard to come by. eBay and Amazon have both run out of them and I haven't seen a store stock them in years. I've had these on my car for 2 years now and they're still working really good. They'll last a lot longer too because I don't roll around the city during the daytime with it on like "I'm so JDM". My friend rolled around like he was JDM and these bulbs lasted him 6 months, then he sold the car when it was still in working condition.

I run hyper white h11, when my lights on my fog lights are on because i love the look. They have been working for 2 years. I will post up a picture

 

H11 hyper white fogs looks amazing i will get a picture of them at night.

 

I had the nokyas and they didn't last long...But then again I like how they look so I drove around with them on,for a week or two...
