shift knob question
yes use the jerkoff hand and twist counter clockwise haha, i went with the ams delrin shift knob, a little bigger then i thought it would be, but hell in 90+ summer heat here in cali, havent burnt my hand once on it...one reason i couldnt get a metal shift knob. good luck, and dont cross thread it
i have a blox OG style electric blue shift knob. its basically a type R style with the red etching on it. looks good and i never have a problem with the shift knob burning my hand, the remedy for this... simply keep your car garaged.

Don't forget about those who do not have garages either.
I've had the factory (metal) RS knob on my SE since day-1. Literally. I installed it before leaving the lot. In all honesty i don't get the hot in the summer, cold in the winter thing. I mean, the hand only touches the thing for a fraction of a second, or are you guys using the knob as a hand rest?

i honestly think blox makes very good quality shift knobs as well as many different styles. i cant recall how much i paid for my Og style shift knobs but i believe between the 40-60 dollar range.

I have a Greddy counterweight and an ARC burnt Ti, both are weighted knobs. I like the Greddy because it is heavier and sits flush with the shift boot, but that thing gets really hot in the summer and scratches up very easily. I ended up sticking with the ARC, because it looks cleaner and also as a nice weight to it (although not as heavy as the Greddy). If a company made something that was Burnt Ti and weighed as much as the Greddy Counterweight, I would be all over it.

easy but do it slowly, take your time
