This much smoke normal? (video inside)
Here's a video from a trackday I did today, decided to throw my gopro on the back bumper just for kicks, I knew my car puffed black smoke (catless + low 11's afr) but i didn't know it was this much. You can also see white/gray/light blue smoke sometimes, I guess it's oil? I knew the car burned a bit of oil, now I guess I know when it's getting burned.
Anyone think I should be worried about the quantity of black smoke and/or presence of gray smoke?
(watch on youtube for 720p version)

If you have ever floored it at night and looked in your rear view mirror you will most definitely see a cloud lol ( well as long as there is another car behind you with their lights on).
Have you done a compression test lately?
oh yeah pcv valve maybe ?

It definitely seems like the car is running rich. Perhaps, it's washing the oil off the cylinder wall. I'd do a compression and leak-down test to see if there is an actual mechanical issue.

AFR's are between 11.5 and 11 at WOT, although I do notice when I'm logging that even after I lift from the throttle it stays in 11's for a fraction of a second.
