Key not Working

I've had my Evo VIII since 06 and I've never had a problem with my keys, but now it seems like my spare/2nd key won't start the car. I can unlock the doors with it, but when I put it in the ignition all it seems to do is crank without turning over

One of my keys works just fine, but the other one doesnt,I haven't used this key in over 2 years... Any suggestions

bad chip? not sure if they can go bad, but it sounds like it's not recognizing the transponder. do you have another extra that works?

i bought two extra keys on ebay for 20 bucks. had them cut at Ace hardware for free, and paid the dealer 47 to program. not to bad. If you have two working keys you can program the third one yourself. the dealer told me he'd just do the third one no charge anyway though.
