Motor Mount

I am having some clunking and engine movement. Which motor mount should I go about replacing first? Or should I do them all at once? Does anyone recommened any brands? Looking for rigidity but not alot of vibration, some is fine.

If you mean engine movement and clunking when going on or off the acceleration you're going to want to look at the front motor mount. Blox makes a great one. When I changed mine out vibrations in the steering wheel at idle went up (it visibly vibrates) once I put any amount of gas on it though I don't have any real vibration. Putting that motor mount in (the rest of mine are stock) got rid of the shifting forward and backward the motor did when getting on the gas or lifting off the gas and eliminated the clunking sound. It was definitely one of the nicest mods for driver feel that I have done.

Good deal. Are there any companies that also make mounts for our cars?

The front motor mount may just be loose in your case.

When I watched my car being tuned, I noticed a significant amount of roll from the engine. A couple weeks later the front mount came loose and started clunking.

I did some research and found the Minerva Motorwerks front poly mount. I believe the bushing is a 70A durometer. You can buy replacement bushings/sleeves from them. The best part is the price. They are only $45. You may be able to find some on ebay.

I didn't notice any vibrations, but the cams and exhaust may disguise it.
