max rpm cut for 4G63???

Hi guys, I have some problems with the lag, due to the big AR of my GT3076 that is .82, my question is, which could be a good cut of rpm??, to run safe, and also to care my crankshaft and not cause damage. A friend told me that raise the rpm cut to reduce the lag and move it to 8200rpm, what do you think dudes?

In this moment I have the stock cut at 7600rpm with clevite bearings, no balance shaft, Evo 9 oil pump, hks valve springs and kelfords 272.

I hope your comments

Raising the limit has nothing to do with lag, perhaps you meant to expand your power band since you are running a .82 instead of .63 like most setups. Yes, you can raise the RPM limit to 8000-8200.

I have lag between shifting gears, if I raise the rpm cut maybe I can reduce some lag between gears. Here in my country I make 11.5 seg in 360mts with lag problems, I have lag since the start and shifting gears.

if anyone knows who has some ATP housing in AR .63 with 3" Vband from one GT3076R maybe someone has removed a damaged turbo and can reuse this part, please I need one.

If you're on the stock ECU, you can also look into NLTS (no lift to shift) to reduce the amount of lag you're experiencing between shifts.

I've tried that, the NLTS gave me some cut problems, had a rare cuts on hight rpm's, my car is an Evo VI with Evo 8 ECU, I put the switch in the clutch but had the same cut problems.

Thanks for your help, I think the only solution is a smaller housing, Ar .82 is for stroker engines, not for 2000cc unless they are run your rev limit up to 9k
