Bleeder on brakes?
Bleeder on brakes?
My front brake is leaking at the bleeder. It is coming out of the top not the threads. i went to car quest and got a new one but it leaked more. Is there something diffrent about these brakes that id have to order the bleeder
Fluid should only come out of the hole at the top of the screw and not the threads.
As for the new one you got, are you sure it was the correct one??
The bleeder when tighten on a brembo seals itself.
Maybe when you have the new screw out, check the caliper for dirt or something holding the screw from not fully seating to seal.
Good Luck

I bought bleeders and they are brembo specific--you just can't use some bleeder over the counter. I assume due to different angles on the seat, lenghth ect. Go get the rt one (dealer or on this forum) and hope you didnt distort the seat with the wrong bleeder screw and replace it. Note sure why you had a prob to begin with unless it just wasn't tight--did you chk that first?
I saw this earlier today. It is a replacement bleeder fitting that is a one way valve as well. It also show the thread pitch if you want to get a different one.
